Yesterday my A had an appoinment with the gastoenterologist to get the results of his Hep C blood work. While he was in treatment he was given an antibody test that came back positive. Upon the confirmatory it was found to be NEGATIVE. Whic hwas great news. He will return to the doctor in three months for another test, but it was the best news we could have hoped for. In addition it was a lesson learned and I beleive our HP stepping in. During this time, we have been waiting for the results, sex was off the table. It wasn't even a consideration. It gave us time to start to make an attempt to repair things. The initial diagnosis forced the conversation of sexual addiction and the beginning of confronting that issue. I feel that this was truly a gift, as silly as that sounds. Thank you all for being there during the times that I was being tested and for supporting me. I am blessed in many ways.
