And I didn't have to do anything to make it so - Its early March and our temp was in the mid-sixties; I spent a lot of time yesterday and today trimming that in my yard that needed trimming and then, this morning found me burning burning burning it to my heart's content. Nearing the end of the pyromaniac hours I pulled up a chair and just sat enjoying the slight breeze that had kicked up and watching the fire smolder from the too-wet stuff I'd put on, letting the coals eat themselves up and listening to music on my new tracfone.
My injured hand hurts, my other hand hurts, my whole physical self hurts but my spirit is well and happy because I got a lot of good work in, got some hand therapy in by trimming Sigmund (the grape vine) amongst other things.
When the weather is perfect what more in the world is there? Our weather is usually pretty wintery this time of year, my daughter is experiencing the Ice Age across the country and there I sat coatless enjoying the sweet summer-like breeze of not even spring-yet weather.
I know I will pay for it, both in hand soreness, body aches and later this spring we'll get more snow and blusters, but for today, just today, I was allowed to bask in the beauty of what the Lord hath made.

Cheers Betty - I believe from the bottom of my heart that we do not take enough time to appreciate and love the ordinary beauty that surrounds us in this world. We get waylaid by trouble and problems and what-ifs so that we don't stop and look and appreciate how extra-ordinary just an ordinary beautiful day can be.

Great share! I have been loving the above freezing temperatures in NE Wisconsin and love nature too. After such a cold snap I am dreaming of outdoor hikes and getting on my bicycle. Thanks for the reminder to enjoy the great outdoors and to get out there when I can. Sending you much love and support!
