Learning my Triggers and my Choices

Well after repeating to myself ... Over and over again ... "I am capable of making healthy decisions". I am starting to feel like my old self. My old self was a person who had boundaries, liked making healthy choices, and was not fearful of others responses to my choices. I am also learning my triggers and know that I have a choice to respond to that trigger by setting a boundary or not responding at all. I can invite healthy people in and I can let go of people who are not supportive of me. Now I just need to practice lol Thank you all for your loving support. I will forever be grateful

Truth thank you great share .. your sharing helped me this morning when I was beating myself up for something I haven't done in a long time but when my triangle gets thrown off .. (God at the top; then me; then work; then family; etc .. ) I get thrown off .. I put myself at the top sometimes and remind God he still has good seats; just under mine .. oy .. I do the same thing Still over and over just that my circle has gotten a little wider so there's sometimes more time in between the doings ..

learning to think .. process .. geez Betty I just cannot believe the layers of the onion .. learned many things were learned .. but think ? learning to think for ourselves ? deeper level of understanding .. again the learning .. ty ..

Betty...that is "simplest" for me now.  Took awhile to get it and then learn it and then practice however it now is second nature for me.   The thinking process can take as much time as we need and for me today doesn't need more than 3 - 5 seconds in time because of the experience which has come from practice, practice, practice.   ((((MIP))))   smile

Gosh I cannot wait to get back to that. I used to just check with myself, make a decision and move on
