higher power telling me to be quiet??

This has been day 5 of not having a voice. Ive got laryngitis, cant make a sound. I usually dont shut up so this is a weird experiemce. Its like my higher power has pulled my brakes and said stop. The chattering inside my head is never ending thougn.

So, no work, no phonecalls, nothing. Feeling so sorry for myself today. Went to the doctors and met a few people i know and tried to communicate a bit, unsuccessful. Ive to stop trying to talk. It could be worse, its not a serious illness and it will pass but a strange experience none the less. Thanks for reading.x

"He maketh me to lie down."

Got that from a wonderful meditation on the 23rd Psalm by a minister, who was told that by an honest friend while he was laid up in the hospital and complaining that he couldn't be spreading himself too thin, looking after his congregation.

Just to cheer you up!

"What flavors of ice cream do you have?" inquired the customer.
"Vanilla, strawberry, and chocolate," answered the new waitress in a hoarse whisper.
Trying to be sympathetic, the customer asked, "Do you have laryngitis?"
"No...." replied the new waitress with some effort, "just...erm.... vanilla, strawberry, and chocolate."

biggrin
