She was on vacation, but it looks like she has deleted her account now. I haven't heard anything from her, so don't really know what is going on. I'm very sorry to see her go. Perhaps she will come back someday, it happens quite a lot, just depends on how their HP leads people.

This list of deleted accounts is starting to get long!

Catherine, rose, debilyn and now paula . I dont know
Who else? I for one wish they would all come back
I need them for their wisdom, love and support.

I Feel rudderless and uncertain without Their
Guiding hands helping me in my recovery process.

Hi Miranda, I definitely miss them too. Remember that Al Anon's 12th tradition states that we should keep principles above personalities. Due to all their contribution, and their contributions of others who are still with us, you have grown much in recovery, and are spreading your wings and contributing yourself! Just keep on keeping on, there is still plenty of recovery guidance here, and as any of us help you, you help us as well.

Hmmm. I love this family.....but they all were a huge part of it. I'll probably read every now and then,  but I think my time here is done too. I was and always will be grateful I reconnected with alanon through MIP. Love and gratitude to all.

It is hard to let go. I asked myself why am i here? Im here for me, to help me get better and if i help others along the way then great. Part of my recovery is letting go and not clinging desperately on which was my previous behaviour. I hope you change your mind aqua. If people keep leaving then whos here to pass on what they have been given?

I agree with elcee and truth, we are here for ourselves and to
help others.I do miss those ladies myself, especially catherine
i am having Withdrawals not depending on her guiding hand.
But we must Step up to the plate and help others just starting
out and hope the ladies will return.

My job is to keep reaching out helping myself in this recovery
Journey. That is the same advise we give newbies, get your
Self to face to face meetings. Do your own work and help
yourself! Nobody can learn your life lessons! Maybe not as
Blunt as that but that is the message they are given.

I miss them all because of their individual voices.  Others contributions are just that... their own.  Valuable too but for me anyway, it's a loss of personal joy each day to no longer see them here, see their everchanging avatars and read their posts.  I miss them. It's just that simple.  TT

I have been coming here for several years, it is part of my morning and evening routine. I remember too well the pain I was in when I first stumbled upon this site, how much time I spent crying and reading and finding myself in other's words. I remember several missing members and wish they were here.

For me - I have an obligation to pass it on, to be someone else's light in their utter darkness, to give my ESH where I feel I can contribute and continue to be a part of a place where hurting people come for answers.
