Hi everyone, I have missed you. Well we have the first week under our belts. My AH moved back in on Feb 1, 2015. The week was exhausting for not only me, but him as well.
We both had anxiety, excitement, dread, fear, giddiness, and a whole host of other emotions and basically yesterday we finally admitted to one another just how exhausted we were.
It has been pretty good, a small blip when all of a sudden he didn't go to work for 3 days in a row and I allowed my craziness to intrude. I was scared that he has either gotten fired or had quit and that would be his old M.O. It wasn't fact the place he works is slow and Friday they had a major robbery with millions of equipment stolen. In marriage counseling the counselor helped me move past the distrust and fear and helped him come to learn he also must be patient as his behaviors are triggering just as if he was around his drug buddies which would trigger him.
We attended his recovery center's Valentine day dance and that will be a whole other story to tell, but suffice it to say I have never seen so many young women dressing as hookers and so much immaturity in one building. It was quite the disaster but then honestly it might just be I am not used to that type of event and display of weirdness. My AH was quite happy he was allowed to graduate and be pinned, he wasn't sure if they would go ahead and do it or leave him out as they so often do to persons that aren't in the popular group. He was so thrilled in fact the first person he called was my Mom. I felt good about that. My parents obviously were quite mad with him, but they have been supportive of his efforts as well.
I hope you are all really well, not too snowed in and feeling peace and serenity.

Hi Flower, good to hear from you! It sounds like you are both working hard at your recoveries. Sounds like you may find that getting him out of the influence of that house and back into real life will be a good positive step for both of you.
Keep coming back here for ESH, we learn a lot from your experiences as well as you learning from us.
