Yes I was checking to see if she was still on unfortunately looks like she's deleted her account .. hopefully she will choose to come back, for now I will miss her.

Yes..and neshema is gone too. I do not think they are coming back as both told me their IPs have been banned. I'm not saying that to stir up trouble. I could see some reasoning that if someone is upset enough to delete their account, there might be concern they would come back and cause disruption out of anger under a new name...though I dont see either of them doing that though. Just didn't want people holding out for them to come back.

they both deleted their own accts and after having a few active members notify us that one of them is using our site as a recruiting ground for support for their own group, I banned them.  Why?

Well, neshema has been banned before (according to betty and my memory, 3 times in the past 7 years) and after what she tries to do doesn't work she tends to sneak her way back on this forum, which betty and I have let her do a few times because she obviously needs the supportive help we can provide.  But we will not let her sneak back on here to do what she is currently doing.  I really don't care what she does else where and like have I said, I will always support "another group" being started.  But I won't support a group being pulled from in secret, behind the scenes to support it.  Which is a direct violation of Tradition 4.  

  1. Each group should be autonomous, except in matters affecting another group or Al-Anon or AA as a whole

Our group is "another group".

To avoid allowing any of this to stir up any controversy or division on our board, I will delete this thread within 24 hours.  For now i will close it and allow it to stay for information purposes only.
