I lost my friend to Alzheimer's 2 days ago. She was over 80 & had a good life. God rest her soul.

Hugs .. So sorry for your loss. Grief is a had thing. Especially when dealing with something that robs and snatches the person we used to know and turns them into someone we can't recognize.

I'm sorry for your loss, Hoot. Based on my experience of relatives and friends with this disease, her death can be seen as a blessing. But, that doesn't help us escape the necessary grieving, does it? Prayers for you and her family today.
