2014 was a great year for me. I met a wonderful man that is truly a keeper, I finished my first full year of nursing school. My two daughters are healthy and doing well in school and life. We just went on a vacation for 4 days with my boyfriend and both of our kids and it went very well. We ended the year all of us together and had a great time. I did have one small fit over both our youngest wanting the ball he had won for me and he decided to just leave it at the hotel without consulting me on it. I was peeved and may have called him a name which in turn made him angry with me, but the kids never knew about the situation and we talked it out. I still have work to be done in regards to my mouth getting the better of me and I have to admit I have stepped away from my al-anon program in the business of my life and it shows. I lose my serenity and my moods pay the price. Another lesson learned and I need to dive back in for sure.
2015 if all goes well will be the last of my schooling for my RN and my oldest will be in her senior year. Wow so not ready for her to be grown up and leave, but I am glad that we are so bonded and I have raised her to be able and ready to head out into this world. She wants to join the air force and has a great head on her shoulders. My 6 year old and I are more of a challenge together and thank God I won't be in school at least when her sister leaves the two of us. I need to work on my patience big time and this last trip has shown me I still hold onto trying to look perfect and I hold this on my 6 year old as well and her behavior is anything but! For 2015 I will learn to just roll with it and not try to control everything. This year was good and I feel the next will be even better. Since finding al-anon it has gone this way, each year has been better then the last. I wish you all a great New Year as well! Sending you all love and support on your journey's!
