With holidays, family, friends, even work can demand more of my time...last minute this or that...and if it is reasonable and I can do it, with no big cost to me, no worries, but I think during the holidays I am looking to take extra good care of me so i can return back to work on Friday refreshed and in a good mood.......what am I doing to take care of me.....
daily stretching and exercise of this back so as to give me every chance to recover
eating well, and making sure i drink extra water
NOT taking alcoholic brother's calls after afternoon, my time....
teaching myself how to bend properly to protect my back....
taking looong soaks in the tub after workouts
swimming and jacuzzi....good therapy for my mind to relax and my back
spending my time with healthy people
cleaning out closets and drawers in my bedroom

Chairing my favorite Alanon Step meeting tonight-- Tonight's topic is Step 8 and it should be an excellent meeting. I am also continuing to work my asset and gratitude lists and read my daily reader.
Im resting, like you, before i go back to work. Im cleaning and tidying for the new year. Im reaching out to people in my life. Im going to the gym, eating semi healthy, reading and having some quiet time to listen the the small voice.x
I'm cleaning out from my head those attitudes or beliefs that get in the way of being the person I want to be and enjoying my life to the best of my ability.

I like your list, N. I am back to my healthy eating, but I might have chips and dip on New Year's Eve I have been cleaning out clothes, cabinets, drawers and gathering stuff for charity.
I fell off my wagon of meditation since our flood, so,I am back on again...
