Another lesson in control!

I have been watching a series on King Henry the 8th, I enjoy history and stories about real people. As I was watching I realized what a brute this man was and what a big ego he had.He desired a son to reign when he died,A girl would not be competent, and he went through 6 wives and had one son .He spent years of his life trying to have a son. When King Henry died his son Edward did become King, but tragically died at age 15.In the end  Elizabeth became Queen of England, after all.Even a great King couldn't control things.I feel like I have lived my life as a  fighter and I am tired and ready to surrender to God's plan.I guess this story really helped me see how life unfolds as it should without my interference. It's funny how I see things these days.

Mary Great example. I know i struggled (Like King Henry) to force my son to recover from his relapse into alcoholism and like the King, I failed in the long run. Lesson learned. Acceptance of Life on Life's terms is the key You have arrived at a great awareness yourself Congrats

You are healing and becoming yourself again. Realizations are coming thru a mind no longer cluttered with the diseases influence.
