Someone had asked me for the title of the book my home group in AA is reading. I'm so glad to be going back to these meetings it just really reminds me how far I have to go.

All I can say is WOW .. this book for me has put a few things into perspective and I can see where I have not been willing to let go of a few things and see where I have come a long ways. I think in many ways I relate to A's far more than the people in Alanon because much of my behavior is that of an A. I just happen not to drink.

LOL .. It's that whole square peg fitting into the round hole thing for me .. I have verbalized in therapy as a kid that I always walked with one foot off the curb and the other on it .. why I'm not in AA as an active member .. it's truly astounding. It's the open speaker meetings that kick my butt and I think how come I get what they are saying sooo much so.
