 We did the intervention on my son today and it was a success.  He went in without any trouble.  Now is the really tough part, hoping and praying it will work.  Thank you for all your prayers, it makes me feel a little bit braver.  This was the toughest thing I think I have ever done.

Way to go mom , and  I wish your son well.  Now I hope u will go to  Al-Anon meeting s for yourself , your going to need them. Sobriety in itself brings a whole new batch of problems for us.  Al-Anon will get u thru it .  good luck  Louise

  I go to my first Al-anon meeting tomorrow evening.  Always new experiences, no matter what the age!  He is doing good so far, and I am very emotionally tired, so tonight is for me.  Thanks for the wonderful support system here.  I have realized how many wonderful friends I have, and how many my son also now has.  I now there will be hard times to come, but I am also in recovery myself.  I also now have a job to "pay it forward" as my friends said that is what they wanted, no thanks but to do the same for someone else someday.  Tonight I am tired but at peace.  Thanks
