The material presented
here is not Al-Anon Conference Approved Literature. It is a method
to exchange
information, ideas, feelings, problems and solutions on a personal
level.
Page 304, October 30, the ODAAT in Al-Anon daily reader. This is what the program and MIP is all about. Mahalo John for willingly being that instrument which the Just For Today prayer speaks of. Grateful beyond words and not done yet. (((((hugs)))))
For me, the reading validates what I was pondering this morning. As I reply to posts, I am forced to put into words thoughts and feelings that may have been rumbling around in my head but not articulated for me to see and contemplate. By typing the words, the gateway is opened for deeper understanding. I will use your word, since it is so beautiful....mahalo from me to you, also.
I so agree ---Loved today's reading as it points out that :"In this fellowship we give of ourselves and the more we give the more we get for as we explore the possibility of solving problems spiritually, we enrich our own spiritual life.
And the powerful quote from Romans is:Who therefore which teaches another teaches thou not thyself?
"In this fellowship we give of ourselves and the more we give the more we get for as we explore the possibility of solving problems spiritually, we enrich our own spiritual life.
I agree, also.... I think this applies to whatever we "give out" or "set in motion" if we give/put out good energy we get it back in return, even those of us who have our spiritual doubts and questions....its universal law....the more i give to this program the more i get back from it in some way or another.....i like to give esh for 2 reasons.......#1 it is good karma..........#2 I want to pay back what this program has given to me its as simple as that....however with study time coming up (income taxes) i will have less time, but i will step up where i can..........PEACE to all

Jerry: I read the reading for the day on Oct. 30th. It was very poignant. I really need to read more literature. I have been so lazy w/ my reading period. I hope change comes soon. I wish you the best!
