This message was powerful to me: we trust other drivers while we are on the road these drivers maybe high or drunk. We trust the ups person that our package will get where we send it and it will arrive on time as they told us it would. We trust our bank that our money will be secured and the bankers will make no errors. We trust giving our credit card or checking account information over the phone to pay a bill or purchasing something!!! WHY CAN WE NOT TRUST GOD WITH ALL OUR HEARTS. FAITH is what I will live by!! I trust God is right with my son because he is so faithful and he will never forsake us!! Just thought I would share :)
Glad you have got your faith gaby, I love the idea of everyone having a higher power, it helped me let go of my son. Its very comforting to think of him being guided in his own journey that will be for the best for him.x
Thanks Gaby I agree. I have a difficult time with Trusting MY God because I am afraid that HIS way will not be my way and I will again loose someone I love dearly. I know acceptance is the key but Trust is a difficult topic.
It is and has been very important for me to experience a power greater than myself before I could trust IT. Once I had a taste on an experiential level of a loving presence within me and outside of me, I wanted more. Until that happened - and I was as powerless over that as I was over my loved ones and this disease - I could relax more. I still wrestle with fear, especially when I'm experiencing the absence of that HP and yet I have memories of experiencing IT and those carry me until the next time there is an awareness of HP's presence. About the time I begin to doubt there truly is a HP, something I know no human being or I could have manufactured happens and I'm no longer fearful or doubting.
My faith wavers sometimes but I try everyday to keep it up and just take care of me and let what happens happen. I didn't cause it, I can't change it and I can't cure it.

Awesome way to look at how often we trust imperfect humans and have an issue trusting God. My biggest issue is control, I want it my way, even if it's not the best way and until I realize that God has the best plan in store for me I can be pretty stubborn. Awareness is key and for me this is a great post! Sending you love and support!

TRUST has been a huge fear, but I will continue to work on my own. This was shared with me because of my trusting issues and now I view it in a positive way regardless of my situation. Many prayers, hugs and let's keep moving forward. God got us this far due to our faith!!!
