Ever get just tired out?

That's me today.  I lay on the sofa in the Key West room late this morning and slept through a couple of really bad morning programs, then decided to get up and get the body going.  I went to Wal Mart to get business sized envelopes and found they had taken all the office "stuff" and stuffed it someplace else.  That section was filled with Hallowe'en consumes.  I looked at a princess thingy, all pink and sparkly, then decided I am much too old to be a pink, sparkly princess, so I gave up and went home empty handed.  I don't like going into Wal Mart anyway.  I slapped myself back down on the couch and watched an old episode of "NYPD Blue"  I had recorded the other day.  That was one of the best shows ever to hit the little screenand SipowitzYOWEE!  he turns me on.  Now I have fed the dogs and the cat, and think I will read another chapter or two of my favorite book, which I reread every couple of years.  If you have not read it and want a totally delightful reading experience written in everyday prose by John Steinbeck, you will laugh out loud and have a hard time putting it down.  Steinbeck's way with words is perfect.  So there you are.  A lazy Diva day.

The book.  The BOOK!  I forgot to tell you the title of the book.  "Travels With Charley."  A running commentary on Steinbeck's trip across the US and back with his standard poodle, Charley.  Great stuff!

I think WalMart is the Great Satan for what it's done to so many small towns. My take is if there is something I absolutely Have to have and it can only be gotten a WalMart, I will do without. Seriously. Have not been in the one here in the 6 years we've lived here. 15 or 20 years ago, last times I was in one, there was always some woman (not the same one) beating her child.

Maybe a Queen costume?

Hi Diva Loved NYPD Blue and Sipowitz and his partner Bobby were a joy to watch. What a show-- I do love to catch the reruns.
Sounds as if you really took care of yourself today,

I do uderstand the Wal Mart thing as wel. l I bet that pink and sparkly princess thingie would have looked great on you as well:)

Hi Diva, I am glad  you listened to  yourself and just rested. I told Grateful about how nice naps are and now she never gets out of her jammies!

I like a store that is consistant. My tiny dogs are males cept one. I cannot believe how they like to pee on things. My big dogs would never do this. they have a dog door out to a nice area too! so I get them doggy pants. walmart always had these great ones. I went to get more, nothing there. this moven stuff around just makes me go to a more efficient store.

Not real often am I tired for two days in a row.

Sure am not doing as much as I did a year ago my dear. I did a couple days ago and now am hurting bad. frustrating.

How are you? Are you healed up??? for now only nerf toys for the dogs!
