This weeks problem

Well it happened.  My SO got laid off today and right now I'm a little lost.  All I can do is let HP show me the way to do what is necessary to make ends meet.  Me thinks it's time to sell the house sooner than later.

My SO....he's a mess and is very mad at the world.....and I'm included because I won't marry him.   All of a sudden he wants to get married so he can have health insurance.

((( hugs )))

Sweet Cathy,

Well, that's about the most romantic reason I've ever heard in a proposal. Grins! Not as potentially exciting as "I need a Green Card" but 'twill suffice.

Take care of yourself, Kiddo.

Sorry about SO's job. Best wishes that he can find another.

Hugs,
Temple

That sucks on a lot of levels. I'm sorry. Maybe HP thinks you're ready for big changes in your living situation; that's what I'm trying to tell myself lately anyway. Doesn't make it any more fun though.

Could be a blessing for him in disguise. And his health insurance is his issue. Glad you are saying "no" to his reason for marriage. It doesn't sound like that is a motivation that you can agree to say "yes" to today?

LOL.......loved the proposal. When I got home he apologized after he thought about it. I should have said ...lol " yeah that was so romantic dear "

I think it's a blessing in disguise for him too. He hated his job so much and his depression over it make him a zombie. He just said he hope's he made a difference in at least one students life over his 20 years teaching because the company didn't give him anything to feel he accomplished anything.

Sad but true....I feel for him.
