Aloha Family...I've been peeking and I know you know cause I've been tapped a few times as I listened and learned more. I'm still quiet and have changed direction toward taking care of some of my needs as I've been taught and suggested.
News...my sponsee who was lost on Oahu with his mother when the treatment facility refused to follow thru on a commitment appointment and who made it back home thru the grace of HP and HP's instruments who are out there and who are always ready to help; notified me that his mother who was drinking still on that last post now has 9 days alcohol free and ready for a meeting. Another miracle? In the process for sure while she is still so close to being terminal.
I had told him that I would be sitting with a lawyer regarding responsibilities I have to myself and my wife and would mention him and his mother and their plight and see if the lawyer would be interested. Tomorrow.
Today I am Ill and didn't go into my contract work...could not not work so I did a contract closer to home where I wouldn't be around others. My wife convinced me to call off tomorrow also which I agreed to and which seems soooo strange to me cause I always work and then It will help me get paperwork together for the lawyer as I go after relief for two different problems I have tried to heal myself without success. I won't extend the issue here in favor of being quiet and not allowing it 24/7 status in my head and robbing me of sleep and rest while triggering my PTSD and other negative thoughts and emotions. I'm sure it is in large part responsible for my illness which I need to be out from so I can keep moving forward. HP is in the house. We feel HP's presence as a Sovereign Nation. It can only come out with our freedom.
I know you know I will continue to peek and read...you know I know that this is my family and you have been for a long time. I love the way you love me and each other and that it is the exact example of ALOHA that I was raised in and with. Mahalo Nui e malama pono. ((((((hugs))))))
Jerry,
Quiet is good, and I'm glad you checked in with MIP. Good wishes on your projects. Help is available, and you are so right to seek it.
Your last line got me to look up the deeper meaning of ALOHA. Very right!
Glad you checked in. What is it that Robert Schuller used to say: "Tough times never last, but tough people do?" Continued prayers for you and for your family, Jerry. Thank you for the update on your friends. Prayers for them, too.
Glad you peeked and checked in to let us know how you are. Easy does it.
By the way, I really like your new avatar. I like the symbolism it evokes for me... two ships sailing side by side in calm waters with a ray sunshine in view. Unconditional Love, the Fellowship and Serenity. Sending prayers for you and those you love at this time. We'll be here. Glad you keep coming back too. ((hugs)) TT

I miss you Jerry F when you are needing to just peek , but just like everything you say, the things you do too, are HUGE examples to me of what we have to do sometimes, and sometimes we have to just listen to those who know who us best and advice us against doing something we always think we need to do just because we always have, lately I have been thinking a lot about childhood sayings that I have truly believed into adulthood, like sticks and stones will break my bones but calling names won't hurt me, words spoken from angry mouths do hurt deeply, I think life is one constant process of change as are we humans the knack I think is when these tricky bits of life bite again and fixer types of people like me need to back off and let other fixer types do their thing, while I sit back and learn, love always to you and yoursxxxxxxxxxx
Thanks for checking in Jerry. I was wondering how you were as I hadn't seen you on here for bit. Your posts are always so insightful and helpful to me. Hope you feel better soon!
