This will warm your cockles.

Just saw a headline on AOL:  Oklahoma City gun range with liquor license set to open this week.

Well, that's just got good idea written all over it, hasn't it?

Bless us and Keep us.

lol.
We don't really have guns although I know there are licensed hunters about, I've just never met one. My grand-dad had a shotgun though and he used to shoot up the back-yard at night when he was drunk because it was apparently full of robbers or something. I'm not entirely sure but I used to wake up in the middle of the night to a lot of banging and shouting and then in the morning there was holes in the shed and fence and stuff and my grandma was angry and sad.
So maybe a drinkin shootin gun range would have been just the thing for all of us?

Guffaw!

You're so cute, Miss Debs--

In a long-ago children's story, somebody was always having the cockles of her heart warmed. In those days, heartstrings were frequently being plucked; and babies were carried up under their mother's heartstrings. It was a weird, low-tech kind of world.

Now that I look at that pig again, I think his pattern is more giant herringbone than plaid. Something to concentrate on next time DDH makes a comment from left field.

Hugs---

Oh, Catherine,

If I knew how to work the controls, your little green guy would not be alone on here.

I love him.

Definitely not the kitchen, since you ask, BTW.

My bedroom. Yes--my very own bedroom, so help me, Virginia Woolf. And the sunroom.

And the conservatory, if wishes were horses. And the Butler's pantry (cause that means we have a Butler, right? And he's in there polishing the silver.and laying out the day's duties for the maids.) Oh, and in that case, the kitchen, cause there's a cook and a scullery maid. And I only go in there to sit by the fireplace and gossip with the help when things get slow (Forgive me, ElCee, gossiping is one of the things I know I have to give up--just how is the question. And I swear if you tell me I'll feel wounded. I went with my friend to a surely not a Bible study--some kind of class at a Unity Church, and the minister said, "You must not judge! You Can't judge!" And I said, thinking how my friends and I spent a lot of happy hours, "Can we at least say 'Tsk-Tsk'?" Thought my friend would faint. What? I hope gossip isn't as bad as judging, but afraid it is. Please don't tell me yet.)

And the ballroom. And the library.

Paula,

He's blue? On my screen and with these eyes he looks kind of teal.

Now I wonder about your painting. I see definite blue and green and persimmon and rust and light ochre and red. And grey and taupe. As I said, that man cannot be thinking--riling a woman with that many colors in her holster.
And I'm jealous of Melly, and happy for her, too!

Paula taught me that little guy existed and Melly taught me how to activate some of these emoticons.

This little guy requires a colon before and after the letters rofl Try it. And on the subject of gossip - in some groups that is called storytelling and in some other groups it is called praying for others. And you made me laugh with the tsk-tsk.

Well, that certainly clears it up.

You know how they put those devices on cars so drunk people can't start them?  I wish they had ones for guns.  Well, also for brains, but I guess drunk people aren't using their brains very hard anyway... Maybe ones for mouths.

Idoh

I'm getting somewhere>  I don't know why I have quoted you, Mattie, but good what you said.

At least I got one of the little guys here.  I thought maybe I have to do something besides  So I clicked on quote.

It reminds me of the time my Unity friend and I were trying to find an address--firsr we were too far North, then East, then South, etc.  I told her--"We're circling in on it."  We were taking the Great Spiral Route.  cry hmm  Not there yet.    I told my therapist once that I needed a sheltered workshop for bright people.  He was all over the floor.  Maybe he could see what I see just now--I was overestimating myself.

Catherine, among all the other things you didn't tell me--assuming I must know SOMEthing, I suppose--was that the animation won't show up until one hits "Submit."

Is this part of what all of you teach each other in the online meetings?

The Great Spiral Route -- I love that concept!  We are all taking the Great Spiral Route -- all of us on earth, I think.

Temple! You are so funny! That is true. The animation won't show up until you push submit. Sorry to have left that part out. I was just so excited to be able to tell you what to type without going back to the emoticons to look it up - AGAIN - I forgot the very best part. Type, click submit, voila. You got it, sister!

You are all too kind.

Melly, that's so funny.

Catherine--you think I really did it? "On accident," maybe.
