I thought it would be interesting to find out how many different countries we have on here. We can still be anonymous. I hope this question is ok to ask. I find it fascinating to hear from people across the world!
Me? I've lived in California my whole life.

If I had a world of my own, everything would be nonsense. Nothing would be what it is, because everything would be what it isn't. And contrary wise, what is, it wouldn't be. And what it wouldn't be, it would. You see? (Lewis Caroll)
HI Nl , If you are ever in the City maybe we can connect at a meeting. My favorite is a Monday night Step meetings at 6 30 PM in the VA Hopsital on 23 rd Street and 1st in Manhattan :)
I'm from Phoenix, AZ. I grew up in NJ, just 20 miles outside of NYC, actually.
Jill, I was just in Albuquerque a week and a half ago. My son plays tennis tournaments there about 3 times a year because it's part of our section. I love AQ and have contemplated living there. We have a few friends who live on Sandia Park on the back side of the mountains and it's just gorgeous over there!

Isn't this fun to know? And Andromeda, I'm going to love thinking of you living here. Well I would if we could stay here. I think we have to move to a muggy place because of work. Maybe. But I'm going to bring my toolkit wherever we are, and I'm going to continue with meetings.
I am from the great state of Nebraska! I have lived in Omaha Nebraska for most of my entire life, spent 8 years living in Dallas Texas and have been to almost every state in the US.
Great idea here

Flower, I used to tell the addicts when I worked in rehab "If your recovery is not strong. It doesn't matter where you are. You will get high. We could drop you in a corn field in Nebraska and you would find drugs to get high on within an hour." I guess doing drugs in Nebraska isn't so much of a stretch.
The thing I like about this thread is, we don't hear accents so don't know, unless we're told, that someone isn't from around "here" wherever "here" is. I'm across the state from Deblyn, go north a hundred or so miles and hang a right about a hundred or so miles, hang one more right for a few more miles and there I am! I see the east side of Mt. Hood from my front porch, not sure if Deblyn sees the southwest side or?

I've spent most of my life in southern California, with a few short stints in DC/Virginia, but moved to the western slope of Colorado (the Rockies) recently, for the 2nd time. Happy to be back here and away from the crowds of So Cal.
