Bad Day

I can't believe this day.  I woke up, made coffee, put the coffee on the bedside and proceeded to knock it over.  I tried to catch it and I hit my bad foot and now it's black and blue.  The coffee all over the carpet but didn't have time to clean it up so I just put a towel down to soak up some and would clean it when I got home.   On my way to work the lights come on that my tires are low. I check how low and it was enough for me to stop and get some air in them.  I guess I should check more often before the lights.  It is nice the Cadi has it's own air pump so here I am sitting on the side of the road putting air in the tires.  I get to work late and OMGOSH bad day at work just putting out fires.  Now I'm very tired and on my way home, needing to stop for gas, get money and some milk and bread...well I didn't make it.  I had a accident.  I  ME  rear ended somebody.  Her car not a scratch...my car ...I don't want to talk about it.   Spent the next 2 hours with police, calling insurance company and getting everything together to get the car fixed.  Thank you ( SO ) for the emergency kit because  I had water in the car, if not I think I would have passed out in this hot sun waiting around for everything to complete.   I'm home and my head is pounding....so aspirin time and try to sit quite and let it go.....until Monday.

Bless your heart, Cathy--

Thank goodness you weren't hurt. A good car does that--it crumples and keeps you safe.

Good for SO--he gets a point for doing something right. And I bet you take water with you every time you get in the car from here on out.

Wonderful that it's the weekend and you can regroup.

Warm fuzzies. No, cool fuzzies coming your way. Maybe cool sleeks? Too hot for fuzzies.

Hugs,
Temple

I'm glad you didn't break your foot, weren't burned by hot coffee, got to work where they're lucky to have you, were able to put out those fires, didn't have the tires go flat on you, didn't pass out from dehydration, had insurance and were not seriously injured in this accident, your humor is still intact and the other driver had no injuries or damage to the car. (((C))) If I were there, I'd be getting you a glass of ice water, the bottle of aspirin, Icy Hot to put on your forehead and temples, an ice pack for your foot and whatever else you needed until your headache was gone and your foot wasn't swollen.  And....I might even try to get that coffee stain out of the carpet for you.

Oh, Cathy, I'm sorry! Ditto what Grateful said! Funny, but I just put an emergency kit in the back of my car and my AH made fun of me for it. I'm glad that you just showed me how I made the right decision to invest in the kit!

oh NOOOOO!! Well at leas it is Friday so you can bum around in your nightgown, eat ice cream and watch tv right? I think you need to send yourself flowers! lol

Sad about your car. Just glad  you are ok!

I know when I am like this, I have to telll myself to pay attention. I will set a cup on my side table half way, or drag the hose over my pumpking plant mashing it...Or leave the water on all night filling the horse and piggy trough. I hate to admit, I do that lots...I have a front pond I fill some too. It was on for hours and hours today! Well at least the ducks like it when it is so clean! lol

hugs dear lady, you sit still and just be beautiful for a couple days!

Oh no! What a shocker of a day. I felt miserable for you just reading about it!
Hugs to you. Hope things improve after a good night's sleep.

I think the day you described is movie material! If it didn't really happen to you, it could be in a comedy. But as it did happen to you, I'm truly sorry, and I'm thinking HP kept you from being hurt in the accident, from burning your foot or other body part, etc. You went to work and did what you had to do. Bravo! You are a great role model for us all! Lyne

Good Morning all

Thanks for the support...you are all the best. I'm much better this morning and my car will be back to normal in no time. I'm going to go visit my son and do the things I didn't do yesterday afternoon.

Lot to do this weekend and can't let a bad day take me down.......put the smile on and keep a positive attitude that all will be good if I continue to practice and let the bad go.

(((( hugs ))))

Have a good weekend..I will be back later

Sound like one of those ultra sh*tty days. I have had them. Thankfully not that often. Chin up Cathy. It's already a new 24 hours and you survived that crap day.

I am glad you are ok.
You don't let the bad day defeat you, it is an inspiration!
And I love your picture and the way you look at us.
