im grateful

Im feeling grateful because ...

Im seeing some changes in my family members that show progress and some healthy thinking creeping in. Its not perfect but for today in this moment it is.

Ive got this program to help me make the right choices, my country is at fever pitch and its exciting and scary. Im trying to put priorities over personalities and vote for the greater good without being a martyr. Im a yes.

My higher power gives me opportunities everyday to practice being the person I want to be. If I counted my successes and failures  its probably about 50,-50. Quite good.

Thanks for reading.x

Thanks el-cee, I need some inspiration, I wasn't able to get to a meeting tonight because my son's cross country running event ran over.

And good luck on that yes vote. Exciting times for the Scots! Not sure if I think it's a good idea or not, but I don't have a good enough education to have any kind of valid opinion, and of course have no skin in the game, but I will be watching the vote, it's going to be very close from the sound of it!

I always think of William Wallace when I think of what's going on in Scotland today. Thanks for sharing your program with us, nothing wrong with 50-50! HUGS!

I have to admit to not following any news for quite some time, so i don't know what you are voting on. Is it about saving the police-hedgehogs at last?
Lol, sorry. I'm going to look up a news site and inform myself now; I haven't seen a newspaper or television for many, many months.
I hope it goes the way you want, anyway

Thank you Elcee - I like that acceptance of 50/50, balance in all things.
We all love Scotland, I can see how a yes vote will be so exciting for everyone. Just hope that we won't need a visa to visit!

I notice in the news so much future thinking and speculation on what will happen if the vote is yes. I quit reading that because who knows what will happen really? Living one day at a time, looking back but not staring for healing, and planning only as far as we can plan comes to mind for me. I do hope all will be well no matter what way the vote goes in Scotland. Being of British, Irish and Scottish ancestry living in the US myself, I'm very interested in what is happening there. I hope no tea has been dumped though? The chilly rainy days really require having a lot of tea on hand for those who live there. (((el cee)))
