At first I was confused and bewildered: ""Are people really using their real name on an internet forum? And to discuss such personal stories and experiences too? They use their real photo! It's crazy!"" No it isn't. This is a place of honesty and acceptance, love and true willingness to help. As you say, like a family and real friendship. I need to introduce myself again: Nice to meet you all. My name is Cassiana. I am 37 years old, born and raised in Brazil but leaving in London for nearly 10 years now. Today is like New Year to me. I start my new job. Not only the job I always wanted but also at the most convenient place of all: at my daughter's school. It's only part time and I am starting from the bottom very gladly and excited at all the opportunities that will open up to me from now on. I thought my HP wasn't listening. But now I realise it was me who weren't paying enough attention. Thanks MIP again for all the support and ESH from my very first post.

It is nice to re-meet you Luiza. I hope it goes well at your daughter's school. My wife has worked at my son's school, and she has built many useful and endearing relationships, and has had the privilege of being able to stay involved in many facets of my son's life that most parents don't get. I hope you have similar experiences.

Welcome! So nice to meet you...I don't post real often, but come here and read quite a bit. I am located in Northern Minnesota. I work as an administrative assistant in an elementary school. Yesterday was our first day!  Hope you have a GREAT year! I love working at the school!
