hi all, been busy but wanted to share this interesting story. so....I was in a really bad mood so I decided to go off and have my own little "poor me" party and sit and sulk by myself for awhile. Well I got bored with that pretty quick so I read the newspaper and it was an article about Robin Williams and depression and that if people will just realize that the mood will pass and things will get better....etc. etc. etc. that the blue skies will come around again....
I had a song pop in my head the one about "grey skies are gonna clear up......put on a happy face".....and I was thinking that I had put on a happy face for so long that I was tired of it and deserved to be depressed if I wanted to.
I got bored with that pretty soon too and finally went back into the house and made dinner....I sat down after eating and thought I would play with our little bunny (because that cheers me up) he is very cute!!!! Then I reached for the remote and turned on the TV..........
TvLand came on ......Lawrence Welk show and (okay you probably guessed it already) but they were singing that song......Put on a happy face..........I was just like.......WHAT?
What are the chances of that happening.......what was the message? Should I have run out and bought a lottery ticket???? Were the cosmos telling me something??? I guess I really do have to put on a happy face----because TV told me to. LOL
The funny thing is that I had already gotten over my funky attitude all on my own. Better part was that I didn't let my mood ruin anything for the family....they just carried on and the moment passed and the calm took over the house again.
I love the results of this program......it makes my life so much better.
Well now....that put a happy face on me and I had a great chuckle. My HP works like that also...often. And....yeppers the Poor Meeees do get boring after a short practice of it. ((((hugs))))
I love it when I dont act on my funky moods and noone else gets the brunt, great story. Ps buy a lottery ticket while youve got the attention of the cosmos.x
It is so easy to get stuck in a "funk"... good for you for getting out of it, and clearly someone else was looking for you to get out of it too! What a great coincidence that the song came up on TV!
