Something somebody said on here the other day.

I was reminded of a Byron Katie quote:  "Before (enlightenment), my religion was that my children should pick up their socks."

To all the mothers....

Betty,

I love this picture. And what is that gorgeous stuff behind you? Is that your apartment? Or the chicest BOHO restaurant or what? Shutters, I can tell. Lace curtain? And what's the scrolly thing?

Between MIP and decorating stuff on the 'Net, my life is rich.

Hugs,

(And I know this is off the subject/ non AlAnon oriented, and should be a PM. I just think everybody would like to know. Everybody who isn't hurting too bad to think about decorating. And maybe this will help them to remember there are other things in life than living with a crazy person. I know I need that myownself.)

Well, Miss Hotrod--

I just outed myself on what my taste is. Very eclectic!

It's a good thing my email friend of a more austere persuasion lives in my computer and 1500 miles away in real space. She'd run me ragged about that.

Can't help it--I like pretty stuff. And stuff with a story.

Hugs!

I love Byron Katie! She is a real inspiration in acceptance! If anyone has not heard of her you might enjoy viewing some clips of her on youtube - there's plenty.

Me, too. My former sponsor introduced her to me via the internet and what a help she has been! I'm glad there are others on the board who have experience with her and her worksheets. I think her stuff should be Al-Anon CAL and CAvideos.
