A good book

I have been reading and studying from several different books, all are endorsed by al-anon. The one I just recently finished and am going back and rereading certain parts is The Dilemma of the Alcoholic Marriage. I'm also reading from Courage to Change and How Al-Anon Works for Families and Friends of Alcoholics. These three books, along with Al-Anon flyers  and The Forum which is a monthly magazine of Al-Anon have helped me beyond words. I would strongly recommend any of these pieces of literature to any new comer to Al-Anon.

Just a reading suggestion.

God Bless you all!

I have courage to change and how alanon works too. I always love book recommendations as well....I did see a movie this week from Netflix (dvd not streaming) called 'The Great Beauty' that was deeply profound, beautiful, and thought provoking....it is Italian.

Such great recommendations!  I like Alanon's Path's to Recovery for working the Alanon steps.

I also love the personal stories of recovery in our little reader As We Understood.

I like the Forum a lot. Also Discovering Choices is really good. Helped me realize I have choices in life.
