Hello Family :)     So Sorry its Been so Long :/ New Computer, and Crazy Summer, but Starting to get Back on Track Now :)

So Yesterday I took My Harley out for Some Inner Reflecting, and it was a Beautiful Day for it, I Couldn't have been Blessed with a better one, Funny how after working my Program, I Can Now get to this Place that at one time seemed So Very Far away... I have Had My Bike since 2005, But Truly didn't have the experiences that I Do Now Since Joining MIP & Al-Anon in Dec. 08...

It was Thru Finding Me, I was Able to Find Peace! It was Thru Doing the Work of Many on ME, that Made this ALL Possible. I Can't tell you Any of It was Easy, It was ALL Hard for me being Surrounded by My Many Qualifiers, When I First Landed Here on MIP I had Just Lost My Dad to this Disease, and All I Wanted was to be Pissed, and Cuss, and Someone to tell me it was Going to be OK... Well it wasn't OK!

I Still Miss Him Everyday, Even the bad times, because those times Made me Stronger then I Ever thought I Could be! But Thanks to this Program, and the Healing Power that Each of You carried for Me! I'm Doing it... One Day at a Time :)

I Still have Terrible days! I Still have days where my (Ism) Screams Out, and I Back slide a Bit, but when I Do, I Know that HP is Holding me Gently in his/her loving Arms, and letting me know that "This too Shall Pass" and when it does, I will Thank the Heavens for the Lesson & the Blessing of it :)  

So I Guess today I Just want you all to know, Times are Tough, Things Happen we Never think we will Survive! But We Do! And when you Commit yourself "Mainly" TOO Yourself, and to the God of Your Understanding,  and to this Program! WOW Does the View Get Better! When I Learned that People are Peoplie, and that Stinking Thinking Can be Reversed if "I" Reverse it, and that Bad Days Are OK! because Good Days are Coming ;) WOW... Can Life Look Pretty!

So If you are Struggling, If you are Standing on the Fence of "Commit or Not to Commit" I Guess My "Non" Advise ;) Would be... Do it for NO ONE But You! and Take that Amazing Plunge into your Own Recovery, Your Own Journey in Life & Living, because you are SO VERY WORTH IT! and the Peeps here will help you get off and Running in the Direction of your Dreams, Just like they have Done for Me, Not many Years ago!

And Even If I haven't been here in Weeks/Months, It Always Feels Just Like Home! So PLEASE... KEEP COMING BACK! You Can't... But HE CAN :D

Thank you for sharing jozie, I feel the same way, its amazing to me what alanon has given me, y life back really, sounds so dramatic but its true and all you need is to be willing. Nice to hear your esh, always upbeat and positive. X

Fairy God-mother on a Harley...LOL..right on Milkwood.  Jozie my sister from another mother (or was it Dad that was ....hmmm okay not going there) it is good to see you back on the board bringing this awesome ESH.   Self commitment for recovery...Willingness for survival.  Mahalo for bringing that lesson back fresh.  ((((hugs)))) smile

I'm sure you've heard that before, I know how it goes, my wife's name is Roxanne lol.

Great to have this ESH, and great that you remind me where to orient my thanks towards, HP. I strike out on my own all the time, and it's always good to be reminded of where my strength RELLY lies!
