If I had a world of my own, everything would be nonsense. Nothing would be what it is, because everything would be what it isn't. And contrary wise, what is, it wouldn't be. And what it wouldn't be, it would. You see? (Lewis Caroll)
Yup, so excited
I cried for a moment when I realised I'd done it lol, SUCH a relief.

LOL yep, that last one was me today, furiously concentrating during my test

Reminds me of this ridiculous (and horribly sexist) cartoon. Bu oh it makes me laugh lol.

I am strong in the broken places. ~ Unknown
All changes, even the most longed for, have their melancholy; for what we leave behind us is a part of ourselves; we must die to one life before we can enter another! ~ Anatole France
Lol Kenny, words to live by!
I didn't end up getting anything pierced but the idea took my mind off things for a few days

Mel! Mel! Mel! You knew you could do it and you did it! Richie Havens' "Freedom" is playing itself in my head again.
(PS: Please check the route from Australia to Hawaii. I don't think you can drive it as Jerry suggests but you could drive to the airport or an ocean liner, maybe? Grin. Loved the cat pictures, too. I do hope you left your cat hat at home?)
Thanks for the support guys
I'm feeling so happy and relieved and I love that you are all celebrating with me!!!
No, I wore my cat-hat to the test Catherine, and he kept putting his paws over my eyes, it was a bad idea in retrospect I might have to find a better driving hat.
lol. I keep thinking of 'things i can do now" (like..I can drive to the pool and go swimming in the mornings! I can drive to the hardware store and get stuff to fix the fence to keep the dog in!! I can drive Michael Douglas to the animal-shelter and have him de-nutted! I can drive around and look at new rentals! I can go grocery shopping and not have to worry about only getting what I can carry home in a back-pack! I can start doing a market stall on Sundays and selling my creations! I can take Bowie to the beach for a run every day! I can I can I can I can I can!!!!
This has been a wonderful day for me.
I have finally given one of my biggest fears a serious beat down.
Yay

Also, I COULD drive to Hawaii if I chose an ocean liner that takes cars. I could just drive around and around the on-board car-park until we arrived.

So, now that you can do all those things, please let us know the first place you drive to on your own and let us know how it went even though Michael Douglas can no longer be your cat hat of choice.
lol, well, the first place I will drive to will be the mechanic as my speedo does not work. I don't really fancy losing my licence for speeding already
The second place will be the car-wash as my poor car needs a serious wash and vacuum and steam-clean. After that I should probably go get fuel....
After all of that I can go do something fun like grocery shopping and buying fence-mending stuff, lol!
I'll report back tomorrow night!!

You nut! I knew you could do it! "freedom" is a wonderful feeling eh? And of course you are thinking of neutering your dog and getting fence stuff! lol
NOW you can bring bigger things home from the thrift shop! hehe hugs!

Kept your sense of humor also and brought it back a notch higher...proud of Melly are you? ((((lol)))) I can now lend you my rider mower and you can drive the lawn?
THAT makes me giggle Jerry because when I was a little girlof about 4 years old , after my mum's divorce was done we went to stay with her friends in Queensland (that's the nice tropical bit of Australia) and they owned and ran a public swimming pool. So the husband-man let me drive the ride-on mower and I lost control and drove it into the kiddie-pool...it wasn't good...he was upset...maybe that's where the driving fear began??? LOL!!!
So no, probably don't lend me the ride on mower.
