I'm getting letters from my son and they are so nice.  He thanks me for sending him letters. Just to get them no matter what they say he just loves reading them all.  He told not to worry about about my job, paycheck, the president or our country. He says I have always worried about these things.  He told me some things I say has some validity but it's not all bad.  He said I still have more opportunity to live a modern-well to do life than anywhere else on the planet.  He said he asked his professor once which normal job had the best security no matter what condition and his reply was "car mechanic" and next " educator".   so don't worry I will always have a job.

He told me to get a hobby and what would I like to do.  Maybe party planner or flower arrangements. LOL  I used to work for a florist and loved arranging flowers. 

He told me to get out on weekends and start taking care of me and my health.  Go see the sights and get some exercise doing it.  He said it's so easy to think of fun things to do when your freedom is taken.  But in any case, shake things up and get out of the house MOM. 

I love my son so much and I hope he is turning his life around.  Only time will tell.

He also sent me this pic of mickey he drew.

Oh thats beautiful, so moving to me. Now the poisons out of his system, his soul is coming through, god love him, take his advice cathy, go and enjoy yourself with his blessing. X

Cathy,
I am so happy for you to have this respite I just cried as I read your post.
I think it is so wonderful that he can think of someone besides himself.
Prayers that he continues to heal and that you can take some deep breaths--in more ways than one.

Thank you for sharing the bond that you and you son have with one another.  Some wonderful suggestions he offered. His little drawing that he made for you you and you placed on your odaat book just made me cry. Keep hopeful. (((hugs)))  TT
