Good morning campers!

I say that to my residents when I open my serving hatch in the morning, well anyway, yesterday I got up early husband had come in late the night before, it was killing me not ask where had he been, and my usual detective self was looking for clues, and my alanon self was saying pack it up, leave it be, so I got my little motorbike out and took myself off to a camping exibition, plan B, is to purchase a leight weight tent so I can take myself off here and there when things get too much, so off I went meandering the lanes and I went and purchased a sandwich and found a nice park bench and sat and ate it while I people watched, there was a mature lady that sat on a bench alone opposite me, I thought awwwwww wonder what her history is,  then a man with a dog caught my attention he stood quite a distance from this lady and they started arguing, she said you always do this he remained tight lipped and almost smug in attitude which was aggaivating this lady more, I could identify, then I thought wow, here I am, the sun is shinning, I can sit where I want park where I want eat what I want, I can be just simply me, in the past in these situations I felt only sadness, watching families and couples spending time together and feeling sooooo sad and alone, on this rare accasion I thought how difficult it is to really have wonderful days out as a family, and for everyone to be happy, well really I was thinking how is that possible because I don't know!

As I was walking over the bridge a glint of shimmer caught my eye, it was the under belly of a trout rolling, now I don't know if it was poorly or something trout just do, so I watched it, and at the same time a colourful bird landed on a branch above it, it seemed to me the fish was letting the flow of the river roll it and then doing it over and over.

I was quite taken by this and then I thought, when you take yourself out of and away from your own problems there is so much more about life, I know it isn't easy leaving the bad  stuff and getting away from it, but just for a while I did it, and so I can do it more, I have work now and I have a bit more to say catch you later.

love

Katy

Katy, what beautiful pictures you've created, thank you. I couldn't agree more, there is so much out there that is interesting and intriguing. I just love world watching as well. I even love picturing your face in the serving hatch - those happy campers must be happy to seeing you!

The beauty of simplicity. Thanks for sharing that. Just makes all the other "stuff" melt away.

Happy camping.

Lovely Share Katy.
It is difficult to let go of the obsessions and move out into the beauty that surrounds us, but oh so worth it. Thank you for the positive experience this morning.
