I had a bit of a reality jolt my STBAX is trying to foist his new "friend" on the kids and has officially said she's his girlfriend.  That hit me .. not because I have any hallucinations of wanting him back ... because I am really beyond ready to let go of the relationship in its entirety. 

So of course I reached out and text my sponsor .. blah .. took me off guard.  Her response back .. oh honey, we need to start praying for her now ... she doesn't have a clue who she's getting involved with.  I almost burst out laughing in the middle of church.  Again .. perspectives .. it reminded me this is just another chapter closing and it's ok.  I no longer need to be responsible for cleaning up his messes .. I look forward to seeing how long this one lasts.  Poor thing in deed .. she really doesn't know what she's getting involved with .. LOL!

PS - my atty was at church tonight I hope that is a good sign for his recovery.

I guess she went after that great guy in your STBXAH's dating profile. You know the same one that was sent to you. He sounded like quite the catch. ;) Lol!!

LOL!"  When you find yourself not watching and paying attention and looking for verification that you were right about what had happened...the feeling will be what we call detachment and all of a sudden what you're totally responsible is how your life is coming out.   Whew   "FREE AT LAST!!"   I once never believed I could do it.  Sending prayers.   ((((hugs)))) smile
