Own property in Ash Fork in Coconino County AZ.  Got a letter from the county assessors office asking for information on the Manufactured Home built on the property???  

WHAT!!!!     Somebody just decided to set up living on our property.  

What a mess we have on our hands.   I hope we can get the county to evict them or buy us out.  We thought about selling so maybe this is a good thing.

Oh, for Pete's sakes, Cathy. It has certainly been just not raining but pouring in your life as late. I'm retired now. Do you want me to fly down there and scout out the territory with you? You'll have to fight the snakes and scorpions though. I'm a "Run, Bambi, run" kind of playmate.

Gosh I wish it would rain around here. Everything is dying even the cactus. Going to be 112 tomorrow and no rain in site. Even the snakes and scorpions are staying underground.

LOL.

It is 40 acres and actually owned by 3 families so between us all we will get the job done. I pray........

I had this happen to friends who had property in Prescott but I don't remember how things panned out for them. That is just ridiculous, but not unheard of. I hope you get it all straightened out, my friend! HUGS!

Make sure you've been paying the taxes on it...cause if the check has been in their name you might have problems with homesteaders...just saying.   Send me buckets and I'll return them with genuine Hawaiian rain...we got lots.  The drought we were having is history.  I'm a windward side (East) boy which means I'm a rainer...love it.   ((((hugs)))) smile

In Oregon YOU have to evict them. Even if they are staying with you temp and won't leave your own home, you have to evict them!Look up the state landlord tenant law.

Its a huge fight. How weird though!!!

Might it be one of the other three families that owns the land? Might one of them have given permission or rented it to the new people? You may want to check that before your other research.
Good luck with resolving this. The longer they stay--- it gets worse.

First the families we all know each other....two brothers and us. We all have been paying taxes for years on the property in our names. All the tax bills comes to us. The home/trailer is not ours...they moved it onto the property. Have pictures from the county. They will either buy the property or get out and the law will be on our side with this one.

I'm mad as hell and I'm not going to take it anymore.
