My son in jail..

I have not heard from my son but people that have seen him do tell me he's around. Today I go to our local county jail website and lord and behold I saw my sons name.. He was pickup this morning for a choice he chose to make and he will possibly look at some time possibly prison. Last night I prayed he would get caught and god heard me. Did I get shocked YES.. But I prayed for serenity and he has not called me. I will not go visit or be at his court date. I need to continue my journey and stay on my side of the street. Any words of encourment or any shares would be appreciated :)

You sound very clear about the decision you've made concerning your son.  All any of us can do is pray daily for knowledge of our higher power's will for us and the power to carry that out.  More will be revealed.  TT

Ditto to TT's response, Gaby. Good that he's off the streets.

((( Gaby )))

I prayed that night that my son would be picked up so he wouldn't hurt anyone or himself. My prayers were also answered. I love my son very much but he wasn't going to seek any help on his own. Now the State of AZ has him and is taking care of him for the next 2 1/2 years. I did go to my son's court dates and I do talk to him. I just tell him I love him and nothing more.

Now I can take really good care of me and not have to worry about my son's well being...he will be safe, with food and a roof over his head. The judge requested he go to a yard that will give therapy to my son so I pray this happens. My son is sober with the real time needed for his mind to come back enough to hopefully realize what his choices have done for him. I pray he will surrender and come to terms with his disease.

Your son is safe now. He is in a place that will give him the discipline he needs. He won't be cold..he won be hot. He won't be in danger.....even there he won't because they don't put addicts with serious criminals. I'm sure he is in detox right now. My son was for 5 days before he even got his day in court. The jail had to take care of my son so he wouldn't die on them.

Take care and keep coming (((( hugs )))

HP does answer us. you are working your program!!!! hugs

((((Gaby))))  I just recently heard a member suggest "I need to continue my journey and stay on my side of the street. Any words of encouragement or any shares would be appreciated :)"  I believe this is the best thing to do...I'm in support of it.   Practice, Practice, Practice.   Keep coming back.   smile

He is probably safer in jail than on the streets. I am happy for you that your prayer was answered

Your son is in good hands, and I'm sending prayers that you also receive the nurture to help you thrive.

Thank you all.. As a mother yes I hurt for my son. I tell myself that these are his choices as a human yes I fear but I have to pray surrender and allow him to feel and have a chance to safe himself. I need to stay focus on me and my own recovery in ala non. I have a great support group face to face and here. This weekend all my focus will be on my daughter and a wedding she will be in and we will be celebrating .. God bless

He is alive!  Amen to that!  He will get clean My thoughts and prayers are with you.  You can go to bed and know he is safe.  He has life therefore there is hope.

With hope,

Andrea
