to exchange
information, ideas, feelings, problems and solutions on a personal
level.
I love to find proof that this program is truly a fellowship of equals . Inspired by "Slow Learners" use of the Just for Today bookmark , I have decided to follow her lead and take one portion of that little pamphlet and work it today.
When I first came into program, I really loved this small piece of literature as it , along with the slogans, did keep me sane .
As a refresher , I have decided to follow,"Slow Learners" lead and take one portion of the suggestions to myself and work them each day .
I selected the following suggestion to work on today To paraphrase the literature:
Today, I will improve my soul in three ways: I will do a good deed , and not get found out. I will work the 3rd Step on least two things I don't want to--just for exercise. I will act as if and not show anyone that my feelings are hurt; they may be hurt, but today I will not show it
. At the end of the day I intend to do a 10th step, just as she has done and see how I lived up to my commitment.
Slow Learner I loved your share on the Just for today Bookmark . As I indicated, it brought me back to my early days in program and so, today I did use the paragraph I selected in an effort to keep my commitment to MIP .
In my 10 th Step tonightm I found that I was able to do at least 2 things I did not want to do and did not react and show hurt feelings in at least two instances. I kept program front and center in my mind and found my serenity grow.
