I am powerless. Happy Fathers Day to all of the guys who are fathers here and else where and all of the mothers who are doing double duty, you are amazing. We are celebrating today, Saturday with my third son and his wife and daughters and I have memories of my other sons who are not here even when I wish we could all be together in one place at the same time. They have their own choices made with what ever justifications for those choices. Truthfully I do the same thing the same way. Powerlessness now is a gift from my spiritual father as acceptance and surrender are both wrapped up in it. I can accept without judgment and resentments and whisper to my spirit..."it is what it is" and "its okay".

oh this is beautiful......happy papa day to you, Jerry.......feliz dia del padres AND to the papas who are doing mentoring to young folks as surrogate dads and the big brothers who may have to father their younger siblings b/c dad is drunk or gone or deceased......HAPPY FATHERS DAY!!!!!

It was great including the carrot cake with raisons in it that my wife did specially for our sweet teeth. Four generations together spending time loving each other. Mahalo Cathy for the local way of saying Happy Fathers Day. I have to smile at your heart and how special it is. Carry on family this goes on into tomorrow. I pray the Father of all fathers speaks with each of you privately and tells you how special you all are. It's true. (((((Hugs)))))
