For all of you who are dads, or mentoring young people like a father might, or being a mom doing the work of both parents, I want to wish a happy time for you this weekend celebrating who you are and what you have been able to accomplish as a person who cares for a child.

Thank you Cathrine! Yep, gonna eat a big hunk of ribs and digest with a nice nap Sunday! I deserve it just for having to drive my son 50 miles tonight back from boy scout camp with his feet stinking up the car lol! I cant imagine life without him!!
I can say Happy Fathers Day to my son's dad. He has learned a lot about alcoholism in these last 6 months and has come around from hate to love and a little more kindness.
I pray this Fathers Day he will have peace and happiness no matter what happens with his son.

Mahalo ...you ladies rock...you teach me sooo much. Gonna do the day early with my youngest son and his wife and daughters and of course my most significant other; my wife M. Down the sea shore again...(its an island Jerry F...its all seashore) for love and eats. Eldest son is still lost (I admit I am powerless) and my second eldest just moved up to Montana with the family. No Pacific Ocean there; and still Happy Fathers Day including my HP on that wish. Keep coming back ((((hugs))))
I wasn't in the frame of mind to remember those that have passed on, until I read this thread. I am extending a father's day blessing to all who are with us, those that are not and to those that love these fathers. In particular the father of my two eldest children who passed on leaving two precious little ones who carry him in their heart.
