Charting progress

I'm so grateful for the arms and ESH of MIP and alanon - the difference I feel now compared to my low points a few years back is astonishing.  That difference is helped by you, I really valued yesterday's feedback a lot.

I slept for ten, well needed, hours last night, and woke to see a beautiful falcon flying three circuits around the field outside my window - gosh he was fast!  I am tired after my roller coaster ride so am taking it very easy today.

That said, I've cleared out our spare room ready for decorating.  It is a lovely room that we have been using for storing boxes et al.  It seems to me that it is time to help it reach its potential with a bit of filler and a pot of paint.  Lol!  I've just realised that this would be a good tonic for me as well  Anyway, I've ticked my box for doing something that I can feel pleased about when I go to bed tonight and have lined up a constructive project for tomorrow in the process.

AH came by this morning asking to talk but this time I explained that I was feeling tired and that I would be taking a day off from analysing our relationship.  The grey cells in my own head have not been chattering too much either, which is another big difference.  I feel quite pleased about that as well.

Me too and the great reminder that often feeling rested isn't permission to blow it all the next day on something to do other than continue healing and inventorying what I've been up to that expenses all of my energy...mind, body, spirit, emotions.   I  haven't been sleeping too well of late and I can't even stand me lots of the time.   Meeting in the morning and looking forward to it...HP's gonna be here too.   (((((hugs))))) smile
