For me i needed to drown for many years before I surrendered and came up for air. This is a great metaphor because it was like drowning in a way. Thank you, very thought provoking.x

I was drowning everyday before I found al-anon and started working my program. Now I blew up my inflatable life raft and enjoying the journey. Thank you for this!
