I have always gotten a lot of wisdom out of reading the boards, but there is nothing (for me) like face to face meetings. Anyhow, I have tried to go to several over the last few months and every time have ended up as the only attendee. Someone here mentioned the Preston Group, but I had the same result there (in fairness it was Easter weekend). Anyhow, if anyone knows of well attended meetings in the Dallas area, please share. Thanks so much for your wonderful posts which remind me I am not alone.

I've been to those one on one meetings and also the all aloners too, and then I've always been with the literature and memories of meetings past.  Nothing like a full house to fill up the listening.   Wishing you luck...smile

Maybe go to an open AA meeting and see if someone there can help ya!!
