Well I'm stuck in a stuffy hotel room with a noisy air conditioner and jet lag so started feeling pretty sorry for myself and also feeling guilty because I'm in the tropics and I should be enjoying it. Anyway, this annual trip of mine is when AH used to indulge in his affair, so I guess I've got some resentments to work through as well.
The real point of this message is that I came on here to read the boards and found some fellow kitchen obsessives! Thank you guys, you know who you are, and it just feels so much better knowing you are out there
I know what you mean milkwood, im actually looking forward to the next one now.lol. I hope you can enjoy the tropics, his behaviour is yet another symptom of this atrocious disease. Can you post a wee picture just to make me really jealous?
Maybe you could also check out the hotel as a possible venue for a kitchen-lovers convention?? Then we could all have a little break in the tropics doing what we love most
Plenty of room on the lawn for the construction of a kitchen showroom!
Grateful, you are absolutely right - it was definitely a HALT experience and I dived right in there for a while. As Elcee says in her new post, this is family, and being able to reach out is such a comfort. Paula, toe and finger nails are scarlet today!

Beautiful, Milkwood. So glad you took care of you and then took care of elcee's need to feel jealous and Melly's need to find a new venue for a kitchen convention and Paula's need to color you. I love this family! Laughing is such fun! Thank you, Milkwood, for starting this thread!
Oh here we go with that bird again, just when I was about to be jealous, because Wisconsin has been cold and gray this happens. Now I have to laugh and change my train of thought altogether, because this MIP family has such a great sense of humor. It is all about perspective isn't it? Sending you all love and support on your journey's!

I agree! Liam should be sunning somewhere in this photo, Raven! And, oh, Milkwood. I'm so happy for you! You helped el cee get her wish - to feel jealous! El cee, I'm happy for you, too! You got your wish. A bubble envelope WOULD be perfect for mailing an air-sucked-out kitchen to or from Melly, Raven. And Milkwood started this all with jet lag and then painted herself up in that lovely shade of scarlet suggested by our resident artist, Ms PP.
