My Kitty Ruby

I lost my Ruby this morning.   She had kidney failure and she wasn't going to get well.  I had to have her put down.   I'm so sad but I did have 10 good years of love with her.

Rest in peace Ruby...I love you

Aw, Cathy: I'm sorry to hear of this recent loss. Thank you, Ruby, for all the love you brought my friend for 10 years. I hope you are now happy in animal heaven talking over your missions of love and the people you were sent to offer it to in your lifetimes. I had to put my cat, Pepper, down, too several years ago and still remember him with love and a sense of loss at times. I wish I could be there to give you a hug.

I have a kitty and her name Snickers. She's a mother type cat and will always come to you and meows until we follow her. She will go to a closed door and opened, there is always another cat that got stuck in the closed room. Well last night Snickers was whining but not going to any door but going from room to room looking for something. I truly believe she was looking for Ruby.

I agree, Cathy. I do think animals are more than just "conditioned" and "instinctual" based on my own experiences with my pets and watching animals at play and birds in nests. I'm sorry, Snickers. It sounds to me as if you are hurting, too. (((Everybody)))

OH NO!!!!  ((((((((((((((Cathy)))))))))))) I am so sorry......the loss of a beloved pet is like any other family member passing......it hurts....BAD.....sending you hugs of comfort.........

Oh Cathy, I am so sorry.  Our cat Oreo was euthanized a few years ago and my heart still hurts when I see his little bowl on top of his burial site in our backyard.

oh my friend. I know it hurts even more now when you are already grieving! I too just went thru a horrific situation and lost one of my precious ones.

I know you gave her the best, and now it will be lonely for awhile and you will miss her until the way things are around you become familiar again. it hurts!

Life is so hard cathy, I am very sad about that. you are such a precious, loving lady who feels things deeply. not everyone does.

You are so brave, and thoughtful.
A real lady. All I can say is I know your pain. I pray you heal well and allow yourself to grieve.
