I really think I hit the jackpot here. It is still very new and I am taking my time, but this guy seems so healthy. He has a great job and is a hard worker, great dad to his kids, is a softball coach for one of their teams and just seems so well rounded. We have been hanging out and talking and I am just amazed. He hasn't drank since we met nor seems to think about it ever, he treats me amazing, is emotionally available and has communicated with me through some tough things and was so good about it. He told me today when he was leaving that he is on top of the world right now. I am no longer waiting for the other shoe to drop and am just flowing with him on this journey. It is so nice to have someone so genuine in my life, I never dreamed I would get healthy enough to have this kind of relationship. 

I have finals the next 2 weeks and won't see much of him and he is so sweet and understanding about it. I love that he is not needy, super independent and owns his crap big time. I am still learning so much about relationships, but I think I finally figured some things out that are really working out for me. Putting the work into myself and my recovery is paying off in so many ways. My goals with my kids and school are getting more attainable and I really feel it is upward and onward from here. I know the best is yet to come. I have been working out, eating healthy, spending quality time with my girls, studying and when I have time seeing the new man in my life and I actually feel stable and balanced. It works when you work it! I am taking alone time too like now to just relax. Sending you all love and support on your journey's!
