My life after RLC

I've been thinking about Rodney a lot lately. I miss him every day and I think he is with me. I have divorced my husband moved to Birmingham and started my life over again. I have met a great man who is the opposite of an addict and loves and respects me. I left my alcoholic husband over a year ago when he waved a gun in front of me and the kids and thought we could die if we stay. I'm very happy. I miss my friends on MIP! I hope everyone is well. I keep a pic of me and RLC on my frig because I believe he watches over me daily.

Thank you for your update and for sharing your happiness! I'm so glad you were able to remove yourself and your children from that very sick, sick man. I'm also happy that you sense the nearness of someone who touched your life in a very positive way.

MDK,

I think of Rodney so often.  I miss him dearly.  We were distant friends, but the truest of friends.  He marked a spot in my heart and mind that I hope I never lose.  I find myself saying something to someone, and then realize its what he said to me over the phone during one of our many conversations.  So, in that way he is still very much a live and with me.  Sometimes I can visualize him looking down at us here on MIP and saying... "those are my peeps".  smile

I am so very glad you found your place and your peace in this world.  We only get to live once, this is not rehearsal, so its important we seek and find our true happiness and take the steps that lead to our freedom... from self and others who hold us in bondage of any kind.  it truly sounds like you have found yours.

((((SuperBigHugs))))

John
