As many of you know I have been dating and really am very picky about the type of men I meet. I have only met a few men in the last year and a half. The newest one seems to be the healthiest yet and I am excited. In this excitement comes trepidation, am I healthy enough, is it finally time to have met a prince amongst frogs. Am I going to freak out and ruin it, because my head spins when things seem to be too good to be true. Growing up in a house with A's has me waiting for the other shoe to drop. I practiced the 3 A's~ it hit my awareness much sooner and I quickly brought myself to the present and took action and got myself calmed down and realized there is no trauma, drama or crisis going on. I have now got myself back down to earth in the moment and am going to just let this play out and ride the endorphins of having a great guy that is interested in getting to know me better and just be open to the process with my eyes and ears open.
I have talked with my sponsor and we had a good laugh about we naturally make mountains into mole hills and make mole hills into mountains. Please say a prayer for her she had another fall and hospital stay and I just really have appreciated the time I have had with her and the wisdom she has shared with me has been tremendous. I am heading forward with my head held high and enjoying the journey. I feel like I deserve good things and am no longer accepting applications for unhealthy dysfunctional people who need care taking into my life. I am taking good care of myself and trusting good things are coming along with my growth through my journey. Sending you all love and support!

Hey A's or not, don't we all get crazy dating? I never really have I have to admit. BUT I have met men in weird ways like meeting them when we both walked our dogs, almost running over one with my horse...
Met my first husband when I was visiting my boyfriend on an air force base.. um and that boyfriend ended up being my second husband.. nutz
anyway you are going to feel you like someone and feel apprehensive till you don't. Just the way it is. Like if you get a new dog, its a honey moon period at first. You are so happy it is feeling really good, things are going well. you are liking him more and more as time goes by. Then he pees on your shoes.. what the heck?
But you know dogs make mistakes! Plus he is pretty new. Over time it really feels good! You learn he does not burp in your face, or fart real loud when you take him places.
He has manners and you really don't mind he gets up on the couch and bed with you.
You love how he kisses, his breath is nice.
All of a sudden you are comfortable. It grows and grows. You feel completely at ease with this hairy guy. He comes in from outside and shakes mud all over the wall, but who cares you love him and he is good
So the adoption is final. You want him forever. You know he is the one, you have no doubt, you really won't. So the deal is done, and you are satisfied and so is he, and he will chew up your underwear, and barf sometimes but he is yours, he adores YOU. so there you are, Heaven.
yep ya gotta go thru the process, and for petes sake, for me it always goes better if I am not intimate until the human guy and I are married. that is MY experience...... hugs!
