I get on here daily and read. I have been working a lot and trying to stay at peace.. Update my son got a full time job.. No phone for him or car and he still has a roof over his head he sees his daughter twice a week as court ordered and is paying his child support and as of today he has 46 days clean. His hours are about 12 hour shifts and on his days off he sees bella. I pray a lot because I can not seem to forget the past and I have two close friends walking in my shoes we try to support each other daily and I can only pray my son continues to walk this path. He is keeping sober his way and I have to stay out of his sobriety. But I get my triggers of the worst enemy which is fear.. I am a mother. I pray for all of us and our addicts for peace and they find recovery. I ask to please pray for us too. Good night.
I pray a lot because I can not seem to forget the past...

No, you should not forget the past. Yes, it is past, but we learn our lessons from the past. It is called alcohol-ism, not "-wasm".
Work to live in the present and just "glance" at the past. Today is the most important day. Enjoy it.
