What is it with him? Or what is it with me?

I have to leave, get out of here right now. The A decided to start working on the broke down jeep. Mind you it has sat there for 6 months, and in that time he's worked on it maybe ten times, to be generous. So he just pulled off a giant part of the engine block, and sat it on some milk crates in the back room. It looks like it will be dripping oil onto the carpet that I'd spent $200 to clean. He's covered in oil, washing his oily hands in the kitchen sink, smearing oil everywhere. Of course there's something wrong with me since I'm "hysterical" about it. I mean what's a smidgin of motor oil in our body? It just seems like he knew I wanted to sell that jeep so I could get it out of the front yard, so I could get him out of here too. So here we are... Just venting, as I leave before exploding.

It sounds like a lot of frustration has been building up and I'm glad that you're stepping away from it and towards keeping yourself safe and restoring your serenity. I have come to think that the more I focus on myself, the less radar my exAH has regarding pushing my triggers and being able to manipulate me. Sending warm prayers for courage, wisdom, and serenity.

Seems like he KNOW what you are thinking, that you are done with him, and he's using repairing jeep to call your bluff.

Thank you everyone! Getting out of here for a few hours was the best thing I did today:) LMH, it sure did seem like HP was calling my bluff through my A. Hehehe, HP has quite a sense of humor;-P Jerry, I like what you said about taking some literature...I took my MIP with me on my phone;) and you know what I love about AlAnon? I love the way it's like riding a bike; what we learn here stays with us and can be picked back up at any time. I love my MIP family:) even when I rant and rave nonsensically, it always seems like someone understands my gibberish:))
