QTIP & WAIT

It's been a rough winter, and I'm really glad spring has sprung! Even with all the lovely cottonwood fluff floating around and the back yard looking like a jungle of nettle....

Still struggling with codependent and rejection issues, but feeling a little stronger.

I've been writing WAIT on my hands for a couple of weeks now at work just as a reminder that gossip is none of my business. I'm going to start writing QTIP on one of my hands to remind myself that I need to detach from my dependance on others' opinions and actions. I really do need the visual reminders, lolsmile

This week's read is The Four Agreements, which I'm hoping will enhance my learning of detachment. That is still a sore spot that I'm working on.

It works if you work it....;)

It is a great book.  The visuals on your hands are a great idea!

Okay- what's the WAIT acronym stand for. This is the first I heard it. :) Unless it's just "wait!!" haha

Aloha:) it's Why Am I Talking? I started catching myself at work talking about things that I really didn't need to share with coworkers. Living with an A (and the isolation involved) was manifesting itself in me to where I was sharing things that were way too personal.

I never heard the acrynym for WAIT till I read it here. How awesome! I will be sure to put it on my fridge to remind myself for awhile. I love it! What a great idea to have it on the hand. I might try that too. My question now is..what does QTIP stand for??
