It's been a whole four weeks since my biggest ordeal with my AH, and have learned many things thru my Al anon family and therapist. I love so much my AH but I know I cannot change him and his disease. I have learn to take care of me because I'm also human. I have many new friends on here and hope to continue my therapy and support with great family on here..
hope you learn as much as I have from this site and my al anon meetings. Remember there is always hope take care of u and hand your ah over to hp. Hugs Tracy xxxx
Dear NavySeal ife I am so glad that you have connected with the Al-Anon family groups and are MIP family.
You are so correct, you are human and need to focus on yourself, your own needs and self-esteem. Your new recovery family will give you the constructive tools and supporters opportunity to grow into the person you choose to be.
It is said in program that if you find yourself lost in the woods there are only 12 steps that you need to take to be the sun shine again.
