First thing First ..

There is so much to tell and really can't tell to much yet .. LOL .. sorry for the tease I'm just very excited and I think that God has a way of working things out and that is ok.

I got to visit with a girlfriend of mine who I have known since I was 5 and haven't seen for 30 years OMGOSH what a blast we had last night.  The kids were with friends of theirs and their schedule remained the same .. me on the other hand I got to go to a big city and have the best sleepover ever!  LOL .. seriously we were up to 3am or later talking .. and it was just so much fun .. she's seriously my sister on so many levels it's freaky.  I was able to drive home in time for work and picked up an extra hour.  It was so nice!!!  They even fed me too :)

Anyway, lots of big things coming down the pipe and I'm hoping that I can work a few angles and see what happens next.  I have a list of things to get done tomorrow and make sure that I'm on track for what I need to do.  I have paperwork to file as well as some other things to complete.

So one thing at a time.  It is akin to eating a whole elephant I just need to slow down to one bite at a time!!

Hugs S :)

I am glad you got a much deserved girls night and that big things are happening for you. I love the reminder of how do you eat an elephant, one bite at a time, always a funny good lesson. Sending you much love and support!

I just love the positive post! Isn't is nice to just enjoy the simple things (that so many take for granted)? I too have to be mindful of "easy does it". I have a tendency to just want to gulp down the good times and celebrate FREEDOM to the hilt. This can cause overload and I will again be out of balance if I do. Keep it simple and easy does it help keep me centered. It's just that when you have been emotionally starving for soooo long, it's hard not to get excited. I know enough to slow down, and enjoy the moment, but thank you for the reminder and the uplifting share. I'm glad to see others practice a bit of self care as all the while they make another's day too. I know your friend was as happy as you were. GFU!
