I just wanted to post to you all how much I appreciate each and every one of you. My AH has been gone now since Dec. 27. It has been a LONG, bitterly cold winter here in northern Minnesota. This site has helped me so much, on so many different levels this winter. I don't always post after reading, because you all have posted so much great ESH already. I never really realized how far I have grown until I read some posts and the memories and feelings come flooding back, from their situations. I never want to forget because it keeps me diligent to keep working this program. I am going to Arizona on Saturday, to spend a week i with my AH. I can't wait to get out of here for a bit of a break!! I think he has been doing well, but I guess that is somewhat irrelevant as I am ok regardless. I am so grateful and honored to be able to come here. I couldn't have done this without the Alanon program! Thank you all!
It works when YOU work it Sweet and you've worked it good. We have been in support as others have been in support of us. The 12th step is about giving it away and thanks for giving away that gratitude. May I always remember to practice that myself. Have a good trip. ((((hugs))))
Hope you have a nice trip. Soak up some of that AZ sunshine and bottle some to take home too. Seems like the longest winter ever doesn't it?! Remember we are all just a click away if you want to check in, it is always nice to hear your replies.

Lastly, please stop sending your "vortexes" down to Indiana, we Hoosiers aren't used to this much cold! Keep it up thre where you all have the plugins for you engines!

Kenny: I wish they would keep their "vortexes" in the Arctic Circle where they belong!! They are saying this is one of the coldest winters EVER up here!! It was -34 degrees "natural" this a.m......-48 degrees with the wind chill! I will NEVER get used to this even though I have lived here all my life!
I don't need to do anything in Arizona but sit in my lawn chair, with my face turned upwards towards the sun... and feel its warmth!!
